Hogs for the Cause has partnered with Children’s Hospital to provide on-campus housing to families who need it most, when they need it most. The Hogs House is a multi-million dollar project that offers these families a place to stay outside of the hospital where children are able to socialize with other kids, parents have a support system, and teams have ongoing opportunities to interact with these families.
The Hogs House will serve as on-campus housing for families from outside the New Orleans region who have a child receiving ongoing healthcare treatment at Children’s Hospital. The multi-million dollar expansion will include 14 family suites with private bathrooms. The common areas will include 2 family lounges, kitchen spaces, and a laundry room.
Hogs remains committed to supporting families of pediatric brain cancer directly, and the House will alleviate one more burden for families who need to travel to New Orleans for treatment.
Together, Children’s Hospital and Hogs for the Cause are building something great.
