Trail Highlight: Leroy & Lewis

LeRoy and Lewis is on the Trail of Barbecue — Hogs for the Cause’s growing network of restaurants across the country lending their kitchens, their supporters, and their platforms to the fight against pediatric brain cancer.

For LeRoy and Lewis, this isn’t a new fight. They’ve been in Hogs’ corner for years with team Morten Andersons Mullets— showing up, spreading the word, and putting their name behind the families we serve.

Located in South Austin, LeRoy and Lewis offers new school barbecue with old school hospitality. Since opening as a food truck in 2017, Evan LeRoy and Sawyer and Nathan Lewis have built a Michelin-starred restaurant on a simple idea: source ethically from small Texas ranches, then push the boundaries of what barbecue can be. Beef cheeks, bacon ribs, whole hog, flatiron — cuts that draw loyal regulars and curious first-timers from around the world.

We wanted to join Hogs for the Cause because they make it easier for children and families going through some of the most difficult times of their lives. The Trail of BBQ makes it easy for us to help while doing exactly what we’re good at.

The Round-Up for the Cause

Starting now, every guest at LeRoy and Lewis can round up their bill to support Hogs for the Cause. Every cent goes directly to families battling pediatric brain cancer.
